RIDE Trident Snowboard Boots
Who is it for? The RIDE Trident is built for riders who want stiff, precise snowboard boots with strong support, fast response, and highly adjustable fit. It is made for all-mountain, freeride, and powder riding – especially for riders who charge hard, ride faster, and want a secure connection to the board in demanding conditions.
Stiff all-mountain and freeride boots with maximum control
RIDE Trident is one of the most advanced boot models in the RIDE line. The 9/10 flex delivers strong support, stability at speed, and quick response when driving the edge. These are not soft, relaxed boots for mellow cruising – they are designed for riders who want control, precision, and support when riding harder.
New for the 2027 season – BOA® powered by H5
For the 2027 season, RIDE introduced the new BOA® Fit System powered by H5 on selected boots. On the Trident, it works as part of a three-dial BOA® system. In simple terms: H5 lets you tighten the boot quickly, but also micro-adjust and loosen it slightly without fully releasing the system. That is useful on the mountain – you can ease the fit after a few runs or tighten it before a faster, more technical lap.
Three BOA® dials for precise zone control
The Trident uses BOA® Zonal Fit System, BOA® Tongue Tied™ Hybrid Harness, TX3 Lace, and The Closer™. This setup lets you adjust different areas of the boot more precisely, while Tongue Tied™ improves ankle and heel hold without a traditional internal harness. The result is a secure feel that can be tuned to the rider’s preference and riding style.
Construction focused on stability and damping
The Trident is built for powerful riding and long days on snow. IN2GRATED™ Construction reduces unnecessary boot volume and creates a more compact feel. Articulated Cuff helps the upper and lower boot zones flex more naturally, while Flex Slime Tongue™ supports damping, rebound, and smoother flex. The Michelin® Hybrid Traverse Outsole improves traction when walking on snow, ice, and hard surfaces.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are the RIDE Trident boots good for beginners?
No. The Trident has a 9/10 flex and a very responsive feel, making it best for intermediate and advanced riders who need strong support and precise adjustment.
What does the new BOA® H5 dial do?
BOA® H5 allows easier micro-adjustment – both tightening and slight loosening without fully releasing the boot. This makes on-hill fit adjustments more practical during the day.
Do three BOA® dials make sense?
Yes, especially for stronger riding. Three dials give more control over different boot zones and help tune the tension to the rider’s own preference.
What riding style are the RIDE Trident boots best for?
They are best for all-mountain, freeride, and powder riding. The Trident is made for riders who want stability, precision, and quick response in more demanding conditions.
