In 1995, Arbor released its first line of snowboard products, focusing from the start on sustainable development and its significance for snowboarding.
Shortly after launching the Arbor snowboard line, the company began transforming old snowboards into long skateboards with extended wheelbases, perfect for riding down hills when there's no snow. This led to the introduction of skateboard lines and expanded the company's efforts related to sustainable development and discussions about its importance in extreme sports. Arbor became a pioneer in using bio-urethane and increased the use of recycled materials, responsibly sourced wood, and bamboo in its product line.
