Men’s Burton Step On® Re:Flex Snowboard Bindings

Who is it for? The Burton Step On® Re:Flex is a men’s snowboard binding for riders who want fast, intuitive entry without traditional straps, while still keeping secure boot hold, solid board control, and all-mountain versatility. It is a good choice for riders who spend time on groomers, progress their technique, step in and out often, and want to simplify their setup without giving up response.

Step On® – fast entry, secure hold, and less hassle

The Step On® system lets you connect your boot to the binding without using traditional straps. The design uses three connection points – two at the toe and one at the heel – to lock the boot securely in place and maintain direct board control. In practice, that means easier entry, faster starts after getting off the lift, less bending down, and simpler operation in different conditions.

Re:Flex™ – natural board feel and broad compatibility

The Re:Flex™ version is designed to work with different snowboard mounting systems. These bindings are compatible with current 4x4, 2x4, and Burton The Channel® systems. Re:Flex™ construction helps improve natural board flex underfoot, reduces weight, and gives a more direct snowboard feel compared to older, stiffer mounting solutions.

Frequently Asked Questions – Burton Step On® Re:Flex

Do Burton Step On® bindings work with regular snowboard boots?
No. Burton Step On® bindings work only with Step On® snowboard boots. You need compatible Burton Step On® boots or other boots clearly marked as compatible with the Step On® system. Compatible boots are available here: men’s Step On® snowboard boots.

Do Step On® bindings fit every snowboard?
The Re:Flex™ version is compatible with most current snowboard mounting systems, including 4x4, 2x4, and Burton The Channel®. If you have an older Burton board with the 3D mounting system, you need additional 3D Hinge Discs, which are not included with the bindings. You can find them here: BURTON 3D DISKS.

How do I choose the right Step On® binding size?
Step On® binding size must match your Step On® boot size. Correct sizing is especially important in the Step On® system because the boot connects directly to the binding’s engagement points. Check the size chart before purchase and choose the binding size that matches your exact boot size.

Is Step On® stable without traditional straps?
Yes. Step On® uses three connection points – two at the toe and one at the heel. This locks the boot securely into the binding and gives the rider board control without traditional straps.

Who is the Step On® system best for?
Step On® is a good choice for riders who want fast entry, do not want to tighten straps after every run, and value simple operation. It is especially convenient for groomer riding, riding with family, frequent stepping in and out, and riders who want to simplify their snowboard setup.
