Women’s Burton Step On® X Re:Flex Snowboard Bindings
Who is it for? The Women’s Burton Step On® X Re:Flex is a snowboard binding for riders who want the simplicity of Step On® in a stiffer, more responsive, and more precise version. It is made for intermediate and advanced riders who ride dynamically, enjoy faster groomers, carving, and all-mountain control with strong energy transfer to the board.
Step On® X – fast entry with stronger response
The Step On® system lets you connect your boot to the binding without traditional straps. The design uses three connection points – two at the toe and one at the heel – to lock the boot securely into place and maintain confident board control. The X version has a more responsive feel thanks to a carbon-blend baseplate and hi-back, giving faster response, more precision, and stronger support for dynamic riding.
Re:Flex™ – broad compatibility and natural board feel
The Re:Flex™ mounting system is compatible with current 4x4, 2x4, and Burton The Channel® systems. Re:Flex™ construction helps improve natural board flex underfoot, reduces weight, and gives a more direct snowboard feel. It is a practical choice if you want to use Step On® X bindings with different boards, not only Burton boards with The Channel®.

Frequently Asked Questions – Women’s Burton Step On® X Re:Flex
Do women’s Burton Step On® X Re:Flex bindings work with regular snowboard boots?
No. Burton Step On® X Re:Flex bindings work only with Step On® snowboard boots. You need compatible Burton Step On® boots or other boots clearly marked as compatible with the Step On® system. Compatible boots are available here: women’s Step On® snowboard boots.
Do Burton Step On® X Re:Flex bindings fit every snowboard?
The Re:Flex™ version is compatible with most current snowboard mounting systems, including 4x4, 2x4, and Burton The Channel®. If you have an older Burton board with the 3D mounting system, you need additional 3D Hinge Discs, which are not included with the bindings. You can find them here: BURTON 3D DISKS.
What is the difference between Step On® X Re:Flex and regular women’s Step On® bindings?
Step On® X Re:Flex is stiffer and more responsive. The carbon-blend baseplate and hi-back create faster energy transfer, stronger response, and more precise board control. Regular women’s Step On® Re:Flex bindings are more relaxed and more versatile, while Step On® X is better for more dynamic riding.
What is the difference between Step On® X Re:Flex and Step On® Lexa X Re:Flex?
Both models are made for riders who want a stronger and more responsive Step On® feel. Step On® X focuses most on stiffness, carbon-blend construction, and quick energy transfer, so it feels more direct and aggressive. Lexa X Re:Flex also has a strong character, but it is more connected to the versatile all-mountain Lexa X line.
How do I choose the right women’s Step On® X Re:Flex binding size?
Step On® binding size must match your Step On® boot size. Correct sizing is especially important in the Step On® system because the boot connects directly to the binding’s engagement points. Check the size chart before purchase and choose the binding size that matches your exact boot size.
Is Step On® stable without traditional straps?
Yes. Step On® uses three connection points – two at the toe and one at the heel. This locks the boot securely into the binding and gives the rider board control without traditional straps.
Who is Step On® X Re:Flex best for?
It is a good choice for riders who want fast strapless entry, but also expect a stiff, very responsive binding for faster groomer riding, carving, and stronger all-mountain performance.
