Fluidity and responsiveness: With its 30.25″ length and 16.5″ wheelbase, the Raw Firefly delivers a lively and dynamic ride feel. The 9.875″ width provides a stable foot platform, allowing the board to combine compact dimensions with a secure and comfortable ride.

CX trucks and Concave wheels – fast pumping, grip, and a more skateboard-oriented feel

Carver CX trucks: These lightweight trucks use patented TKP geometry to transfer pumping energy into forward motion very efficiently. As a result, the board accelerates quickly, responds directly to body input, and delivers a livelier, more versatile ride feel than the C7 setup. The CX is a great choice for riders who want to combine surfskate flow with easier dynamic maneuvers, fakie riding, and a more technical, skateboard-inspired style.

69mm Concave Smoke 78A wheels: These wheels provide strong grip, stability, and a very smooth release out of turns. The softer 78A formula holds well on different surfaces, supports efficient pumping, and helps maintain control during deep carves. It is a setup that pairs perfectly with the quick, responsive character of the CX system.

Ryan Martz artwork – surf craftsmanship and artistic character

The Raw Firefly features artwork by Ryan Martz, a highly respected resin artist who grew up surrounded by some of the most skilled glassers in Southern California. His signature style, based on flowing pigmented resin, recalls the movement of water and fire frozen in time. In this model, Carver once again combines refined surfskate geometry with authentic old-school surf/skate aesthetics.
