One board for the entire resort

The GNU Upgrade is a directional all-mountain board with freestyle DNA. A powerful camber engine underfoot, a long stable nose for float in powder, and a more forgiving tail for carving control and pop – all combine to make it fast, confident, and surprisingly easy to ride.

Key riding features

The C2X profile (sections of camber with a short rocker between the feet) provides camber’s edge hold and pop plus a touch of looseness and float from the rocker. The Directional Twin shape with a setback stance of about 19 mm improves stability at speed and float in soft snow, while the tuned flex between nose and tail keeps the board predictable and lively in any conditions.

Eco-friendly construction and durability

Handbuilt in the USA (Mervin Made) with a focus on sustainable processes. A lightweight core reinforced with durable laminates gives lively response and strength, while the fast, low-maintenance base performs every day. This is a board built with “upgrade” technology so you can focus fully on the ride.

Advanced technologies:

C2X profile – short rocker between the feet + stronger camber under the back foot and extended camber toward the nose; combines pop, control, and float.
Magne-Traction® (directional, triple serration) – serrated edges focused under toes and between the feet; cleaner, catch-free tips.
Directional “on-demand” sidecut – blended radii for easy entry, stable mid-turn, and a more aggressive finish through the tail.
Directional core profile – stiffened nose for power and float, softer tail for control, carving, and pop.
Setback stance ~19 mm (.75") – balanced on hardpack and improved float in powder without nose dive.
Eco-sublimated topsheet & base – durable surfaces with vivid graphics produced with lower environmental impact.
