Jones Kid's Prodigy Package is a complete kids' snowboard setup consisting of the Youth Prodigy snowboard and factory-mounted bindings. It is designed for young snowboarders who are ready to progress from their first experiences on a board to making independent turns and riding groomed slopes with increasing confidence. The soft flex, CamRock profile and Low 3D Contour Base make the board easy to control and help reduce the risk of accidentally catching an edge.

Characteristics

The Prodigy uses a camber profile – camber between the bindings provides stability, edge hold and responsive board feel, while rocker in the nose and tail makes turn initiation easier and gives the board a more forgiving character. The soft 2/5 flex allows young riders to bend and control the board without needing to apply excessive force.

The Directional Twin shape combines natural, predictable handling with the ability to learn riding in both directions. This means the Prodigy can develop together with the child's skills – from first turns to more confident all-mountain riding and the first freestyle elements.

Easier turns and more confidence on edge

One of the key elements of the construction is the Low 3D Contour Base. The slightly raised base edges around the nose and tail help the board transition more smoothly from a flat base onto the edge and reduce the chance of accidentally catching an edge in the snow. This allows the child to focus on learning the correct stance, balance and smoothly linking consecutive turns.
