Meet the Switch Capybara – a compact deck created for riders looking for an agile, stylish and versatile board for cruising and a strong surf-inspired feel. Even though it is compact, the Capybara has a lot of character. With its 5 mm rocker, medium concave, refined kicktail and nose and wheel cutouts, it offers excellent control, strong board feel and surprising versatility. It makes a great base for a surfskate, while also working perfectly as a fast and comfortable cruiser.

Thoughtful design

The Capybara was designed so that every curve has a real impact on the riding feel. The medium concave and 5 mm rocker provide excellent control while still keeping the board comfortable for everyday riding. The nose holds your front foot securely, and together with the tail creates a functional platform for simple tricks and quick maneuvers. This is a small board, but one that has been carefully refined in terms of geometry and usability.

Light, agile and durable construction

The deck is built around a vertically laminated poplar–ash core, reinforced with triaxial fiberglass and finished with 360° polyurethane sidewalls. This construction keeps the Capybara very light while still making it durable enough for intensive use. In addition, the anti-scratch coating combined with the sidewalls helps the deck maintain its clean look and riding properties for longer.

Waterproof and ready for everyday riding

Got caught in the rain? With Switch boards, that is not a problem. The 100% waterproof construction makes the Capybara ready for daily commuting, spontaneous rides and changing conditions. This is a board you can simply take with you and keep rolling – without stressing about durability.
