Nidecker Rift Snowboard Boots

Who is it for? Nidecker Rift is a men's snowboard boot designed for riders who value a relaxed, creative riding style, park sessions and having fun across the mountain. The soft 2/5 flex makes it easy to work on grabs, presses and tweaks while still providing enough support for everyday all-mountain riding. The lightweight construction, precise Dual BOA® fit and comfortable liner make the Rift a good choice for full days on the mountain.

Soft Flex, Dual BOA® and Freedom of Movement

Nidecker Rift is designed for riders who do not need a stiff boot for aggressive energy transfer, but instead want maximum freedom of movement. The two-piece articulated shell allows the upper and lower sections of the boot to work independently, making it easier to flex the boot and apply pressure without excessively deforming the entire construction. The 2/5 flex is particularly well suited to tricks, presses, grabs and playful riding.

• BOA® H5 Coiler: the latest-generation BOA® dials provide precise micro-adjustment in both directions, including while riding.
• 3D Liner Support: molded 3D elements and J-bars around the ankle improve heel hold and help reduce heel lift.
• Silver Liner: a thermoformable liner with 8 mm PE foam, additional PU support and a Custom Flex Zone around the toes allows the inside of the boot to adapt to the shape of the foot.
• Articulating Cuff: the two-piece shell construction allows the upper section of the boot to flex independently, providing smooth flex without creating unnecessary pressure points.
• 3D Molded Tongue: the asymmetric molded tongue follows the natural shape of the forefoot, helping reduce pressure points and improve comfort.
• Asym 3F: the asymmetric construction developed in collaboration with BOA® provides support and smooth flex. The routing of the laces across the flatter part of the forefoot helps distribute pressure more evenly.
• 3D Molded Toebox: the molded toe area reduces the number of layers and seams, improving moisture resistance and durability. It also makes it easier to slide the boot into and out of the binding.
• Ascent 2.0: the outsole combines cushioning with a rubber tread for reliable grip. The improved Transition Zone and more durable rubber around the heel support compatibility with speed-entry bindings.
• Shell Harness: internal lacing provides additional liner adjustment, while the Velcro closure helps stabilize the tongue.
