The A-8 model is designed for versatile performance in all conditions. This binding is precise and aggressive, ideal for snowboarders who expect the highest performance from their gear. The Reversible Ankle Strap offers two riding modes: with the stiff part of the strap on top for a more aggressive feel or with the soft part on top for greater flexibility and lateral movements.

Features

The A-Series aluminum base provides the reactive flex and power transfer characteristic of aluminum but with less stiffness than previous designs. The canted footbed positions the joints at a 2.5-degree angle, providing greater leverage over the board's ends. Integrated PODS rubber pads make the ride even smoother, and the TPU basepad dampens vibrations at high speeds.

Advanced Technologies

• A-Series™ Chassis: The extruded aluminum heel-cup guarantees maximum toe-to-heel response. The A-Series Chassis is designed to be less stiff than previous models, allowing the aluminum to flex more under the rider's weight, offering a much more responsive ride. Thanks to its 100% aluminum construction, the base is narrower than nylon or plastic, allowing the board to flex more freely from tip to tail.

• Reversible Upper Strap: Designed to be worn in two positions: one for powerful, performance-oriented riding and another for a more relaxed style that allows for a more fluid ride.
• Lower Strap: A minimalist toe strap with overmold and an additional urethane layer ensures that the strap stays securely in place in the desired position on the snowboard boot.
• Upper Linkage RATCHET™ Buckles: A ratchet mechanism that improves durability and eliminates buckle slack, ensuring smooth operation while maintaining a secure hold.
• Lower Linkage RATCHET™ Buckles: A ratchet mechanism that improves durability and eliminates buckle slack, ensuring smooth operation while maintaining a secure hold.
• CANTED FOOTBED: An ultra-light footbed with subtle angles that position the ankles and knees in a more natural and comfortable alignment. The additional angle allows for better board pressure, increasing pop without changing the preferred stance width.
• A-SERIES TPU BASEPAD: A urethane pad placed under the binding and around its sides. Urethane provides excellent damping properties underfoot and enhances support, increasing responsiveness as the snowboarder shifts weight during turns.
