RIDE Octave Snowboard Boots
Who is it for? The RIDE Octave is a men’s snowboard boot with a 7/10 flex, made for all-mountain riding and park use. It is designed for riders who want more support than a soft freestyle boot, but do not need the aggressive stiffness of freeride-focused models. Octave combines comfort, secure foot hold, and independent upper and lower boot adjustment.
All-mountain performance without extreme stiffness
The Octave delivers a responsive medium-stiff feel that works well for everyday riding, faster runs, landings, and technical board control. The 7/10 flex gives clear support while still leaving some freedom of movement, making it more approachable than the stiffest boots in the RIDE line.
BOA® Zonal with a front H5 dial
The boot uses the BOA® Zonal Fit System, allowing the upper and lower parts of the boot to be adjusted independently. For the 2027 version, the front dial uses the H5 platform, giving precise tightening and loosening in the front zone of the boot. This makes it easier to tune the fit during the day without fully releasing the whole system.
The Tongue Tied™ Hybrid Harness improves heel hold and helps stabilize the boot tongue. During turns, takeoffs, and landings, it helps reduce unwanted foot movement inside the boot for better board control. Sequence Lacing helps distribute lace tension more evenly through the shell.
Comfort and cushioning for longer days
The Octave uses an Intuition™ Support Foam Liner, Flex Lite 2.0 Outsole, and a cushioning +SLIME layer. This combination provides support, comfort, and underfoot damping while keeping the boot versatile and relatively lightweight. The C.A.T. System adds adjustment around the calf zone.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the RIDE Octave 2027 use BOA® H5?
Yes, but H5 applies to the front BOA® dial, not to both dials. The front H5 dial controls precise adjustment in the front zone of the boot.
Who is the RIDE Octave best for?
It is best for riders who want a medium-stiff boot for all-mountain and park riding. It offers more support than softer freestyle boots without the extreme stiffness of freeride models.
How is the RIDE Octave different from the Lasso?
Octave has a 7/10 flex, so it is slightly stiffer and more supportive than the Lasso with its 6/10 flex. Lasso feels more freestyle-friendly, while Octave adds more stability for stronger riding.
How many BOA® dials does the RIDE Octave have?
The RIDE Octave has two BOA® dials. The system allows independent adjustment of the upper and lower parts of the boot.
