Ride WARPIG Snowboard

Wide, agile snowboard for carving, park and powder

The Ride WARPIG is one of the most versatile snowboards in the RIDE collection. Its wide, directional construction provides excellent stability and float while remaining surprisingly quick from edge to edge. The medium flex and Zero Camber profile create a board that performs well for carving, park riding, big jumps and powder.

Characteristics

The WARPIG combines a wide platform with a Tapered Bi-Radial Sidecut. This provides stable support on landings and strong edge hold through turns without making the board feel like a typical wide snowboard. The directional shape with a wider nose and narrower tail improves float in soft snow, while the flat Zero Camber profile provides a stable and predictable platform.

Wide-board stability without sacrificing agility

One of the WARPIG’s biggest advantages is the combination of a wide platform with quick edge-to-edge response. Slim Walls improve energy transfer and dampen vibrations, while Carbon Array™ 3 increases control without making the construction excessively stiff. As a result, the WARPIG remains dynamic while carving, stable on landings and smooth in softer terrain.

Advanced technologies:

  • Zero Camber: a predominantly flat profile that provides stability, predictable handling and a more forgiving ride.
  • Directional Shape: a longer nose, shorter tail and directional geometry improve stability and float in soft snow.
  • Tapered Bi-Radial Sidecut: geometry designed for the wide construction provides strong edge hold, stability and quick edge-to-edge transitions.
  • Slim Walls: a three-dimensional composite construction around Slimewall® material improves energy transfer, reduces weight and effectively dampens vibrations.
  • Double Impact Plates: additional reinforcement under the bindings increases resistance to compression and damage in high-stress areas.
  • Carbon Array™ 3: carbon bands transfer energy from the binding area to the contact points, increasing control and responsiveness.
  • Hybrid Glass: triaxial fiberglass on top and biaxial fiberglass on the base side provide a balance of stiffness, torsional flex and responsiveness at higher speeds.
  • Performance™ Core: a combination of durable aspen, bamboo and lightweight paulownia provides a good balance of low weight, responsiveness and durability.
  • Sintered 4000 Base: a hard and fast sintered base provides excellent durability and very good riding performance.
  • Stone Ground Finish: factory stone-ground base finishing provides a smooth and even running surface.
  • Cleave Edge: additional steel improves resistance to cracking and edge damage.
  • Bio Resin: resin using bio-based raw materials reduces the use of conventional petroleum-based materials.
  • Wend® Meadowfoam Biodegradable Wax: factory-applied biodegradable wax made using meadowfoam seed oil.
  • 30% Recycled Steel Edges: steel edges containing 30% recycled material.
Flat – a flat profile that provides stability, predictable handling and a more forgiving ride. Directional – a longer nose and shorter tail provide stable handling and increased float in powder.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes Ride snowboards stand out?

Ride snowboards are designed with durability, precise handling and versatility in mind. The brand uses proprietary technologies such as Slimewalls®, Carbon Array™, Performance™ Core and various camber and rocker profiles to provide the right riding characteristics for every style of snowboarding.

How do I choose the right Ride snowboard length?

The most important factor is rider weight. The manufacturer provides recommended weight ranges for each board size. Height is a secondary factor and mainly affects individual preferences regarding how the board feels and handles.

When should I choose a Wide version?

Wide versions are designed for riders with larger snowboard boots. With most manufacturers, it is worth considering a Wide board from approximately EU size 44 and above to reduce the risk of toe or heel drag during turns.

Do Ride snowboards require regular maintenance?

Yes. Regular base waxing, along with checking and sharpening the edges, helps maintain high speed, reliable grip and extends the lifespan of the board. Service frequency depends on how intensively the board is used and on snow conditions.

How should I store the board outside the season?

After the season, it is worth cleaning the board thoroughly, protecting the base with a layer of wax and storing it in a dry place away from heat sources and direct sunlight. This will help the board retain its properties for the next season.

Where are Ride snowboards manufactured?

Ride has been working with some of the most renowned snowboard factories in the world for many years. Each board is made using high-quality materials and strict quality control, resulting in durability and consistent riding characteristics.
