Who is it for? The Rome Katana AW FASE® is an advanced all-mountain binding for riders who want fast entry without giving up the adjustment and feel of traditional straps. Its 6–8/10 flex delivers a versatile balance of response, board feel and lateral freedom, making it suitable for powerful riding on groomers, in the park and in changing conditions.
FASE® Fast Entry – quick entry without dedicated boots
The FASE® system lets you step into the binding while the toe strap remains in position. AutoBack moves into place as you enter, while the FastStrap stays connected to the ratchet and only needs a quick final tightening. You still keep conventional straps and precise tension adjustment.
AsymWrap – board feel with controlled lateral movement
The AsymWrap platform uses three connection points between the forged aluminium heelcup and the baseplate. This transfers energy efficiently to the edge while allowing more lateral freedom, board feel and tweakability than a more enclosed FullWrap-style platform.

No. The bindings work with standard snowboard boots that fit the stated size range.
Can I still strap in the traditional way?
