Who is it for? The Rome Volt FASE® is a smooth-flexing freestyle and all-mountain binding for riders who want fast entry, comfortable straps and a forgiving feel. Its 5–6/10 flex supports butters, presses and relaxed everyday riding while retaining enough stability for confident board control.
FASE® Fast Entry in a light, straightforward construction
AutoBack closes into position as the boot enters the binding, the FastStrap remains connected to the ratchet and the Locked-In Toe Strap keeps its set position. Entry is quick, while strap tension can still be adjusted just like on conventional bindings.
MonoFrame – smooth and predictable flex
The one-piece moulded MonoFrame platform was designed specifically around the FASE® system. It provides smooth flex, direct board feel and an approachable response that works well for park laps, groomers and developing technique.

- FASE® Kink Ladders: two ankle-strap positions let you choose between a more supportive or a looser, surfier feel.
- OmniFlex Ankle Straps: responsive AuxTech® straps wrap the boot evenly and help reduce pressure points.
- ProGrip Toe Straps: lightweight toe straps provide secure fit across different boot shapes.
- Three toe-strap positions: help match the binding to boot length and shape.
- Two forward-lean positions: allow a more relaxed or quicker highback response.
- 6° rotated highback: follows the natural leg position more closely.
- Baseplate: 30% glass / 70% nylon – stable and predictable flex.
- Highback: 10% glass / 90% nylon – a softer flex tuned for freestyle and all-day riding.
- 2-Degree Dual Density Footbed: dual-density cushioning with 2° canting adds comfort and vibration damping.
