The Chaser snowboard is a directional twin designed for all-mountain use that won't break the bank. With its forgiving, soft flex and Triple Base Technology™, it performs well on the slopes, in powder, and even in the snowpark. Available in our store also as a set with dedicated Bataleon bindings.

Characteristics

What distinguishes Bataleon boards is the unique shape of the base known as Triple Base Technology, or 3BT for short. This technology combines the responsiveness of a traditional camber with the dynamic properties of Triple Base. In the Chaser model, the rise of the side edges and base at the front and rear of the board is moderate.

The gradual rise of the board's nose affects its behavior on snow, making edge-to-edge transitions easier, reducing the risk of catching an edge, and improving riding comfort in powder.	uuu	The gradual rise in the tail defines how the board will behave on snow. This rise makes the boards more versatile than others, making it less likely to catch an edge.

Advanced Technologies

• Double Bi-Ax Laminate: A traditional bi-directional weave that is lightweight yet durable. It maintains the board's flexibility without increasing torsional stiffness.
• Wood Core: Made of poplar wood with beech wood inserts for reinforcement and increased pop.
• Hyper Glide S Sintered Base: A standard sintered base that is very durable and fast but requires more frequent waxing to maintain its properties.
• 20 Inserts: High-quality German A-class stainless steel inserts ensure a secure connection between the bindings and the board. They can withstand many years of changing binding positions on the board.
• Flex Walls: Designed to enhance the board's flex and performance.
• Low Camber Profile: In Bataleon, camber is defined on a 3-point scale from low to high. A higher camber makes the boards more dynamic and requires more aggressive riding to achieve maximum performance. Boards with lower camber perform better at lower speeds and in powder. All camber profiles in Bataleon run from the nose to the tail of the board. Higher does not always mean better...

Camber - characterized by an upward bend in the center, providing excellent edge grip and dynamic pop.	Directional twin - resembles a traditional twin, as the turning radius is the same when riding in both directions, but the board's nose is slightly longer than the tail.
