Characteristics

What distinguishes Bataleon boards is the unique shape of the base known as Triple Base Technology, or 3BT for short. This technology combines the responsiveness of a traditional camber with the dynamic properties of Triple Base and Sidekick. Sidekick enhances the Triple Base concept by increasing the rise of the edges and base just beyond the widest points of the nose and tail. The tips of the board become more like a boat hull. Riding a board with this type of base creates a 3D riding experience. In the Push Up model, the rise of the side edges and base at the front and rear of the board is moderate.

The gradual rise of the board's nose affects its behavior on snow, making edge-to-edge transitions easier, reducing the risk of catching an edge, and improving riding comfort in powder.	uuu	The gradual rise in the tail determines how the board behaves on snow. This rise makes the boards more versatile than others, making it harder to catch an edge.

Advanced Technologies

• Double Bi-Ax Laminate: A traditional bi-directional weave that is lightweight yet durable. It maintains the board's flexibility without increasing torsional stiffness.
• Light Core: A wood core made of 50% paulownia and 50% poplar provides durability and dynamics in pop and turns.
• Hyper Glide S Sintered Base: A standard sintered base that is very durable and fast, but requires more frequent waxing to maintain its properties.
• 28 Inserts: High-quality German A-class stainless steel inserts ensure a secure connection between the bindings and the board. They can withstand many years of changing binding positions on the board.
• Additional 2 Rear Inserts: A pair of additional inserts placed on each side allow you to position the bindings further back when riding in deep powder. Shifting your weight further back lightens the nose of the board above the snow surface.
• Carbon Stringers: Carbon fiber inserts that are stiff, dampen vibrations, are resistant to overload, and maintain their properties even after prolonged use.
• D.S.T SuperTubes: Super Tubes, or hollow carbon cylinders, are integrated directly into the core. The board features a single Super Tube insert placed in the center, enhancing its pop without unnecessarily stiffening it along the length. This lack of stiffening makes the board more flexible and better adapted to terrain irregularities, which is beneficial when jibbing on boxes and rails in the snowpark.
• Medium Camber Profile: In Bataleon, camber is defined on a 3-point scale from low to high. A higher camber makes the boards more dynamic and requires more aggressive riding to achieve maximum performance. Boards with lower camber perform better at lower speeds and in powder.
