Men's Burton Process Camber Snowboard
Who is it for? The Burton Process Camber is a men’s snowboard for riders who want to combine freestyle freedom with confident all-mountain control. It is a good choice for intermediate riders who like park laps, jumps, side hits, switch riding, and creative use of the mountain, while still wanting pop, stability, and control outside the park.
A freestyle twin with pop and all-mountain versatility
The Burton Process Camber is known for its dynamic, lightweight, and creative ride feel. Its character suits riders who like to mix groomer riding with tricks, jumps, and natural features. The PurePop Camber profile gives energetic pop and stronger edge control than flatter designs, while feeling slightly more forgiving and freestyle-friendly than a full traditional camber.
PurePop Camber, Twin shape, and The Channel®
The Process Camber uses a Twin shape and Twin flex, making it a strong choice for switch riding, jumps, spins, and freestyle progression. At the same time, PurePop Camber gives the board enough stability and response for groomers and all-mountain riding. The Channel® mounting system lets you fine-tune your stance width, binding angles, and binding position – from a more park-focused setup to a comfortable all-mountain stance.
Key solutions and benefits
- PurePop Camber: combines camber energy with a slightly more forgiving feel, giving the board pop, control, and smoother handling.
- Twin Shape: symmetrical shape that makes switch riding, spins, jumps, and freestyle use across the whole mountain easier.
- Twin Flex: even flex from nose to tail provides a predictable feel when riding regular or switch.
- Super Fly II™ 700G Core: a lightweight wood core that reduces weight while keeping the board lively, snappy, and responsive underfoot.
- Dualzone™ EGD™: engineered wood grain placement along the edges improves control, edge hold, and board response.
- Triax™ Fiberglass: fiberglass construction that provides versatile flex and response for freestyle and all-mountain riding.
- Sintered Base: a sintered base that absorbs wax well, delivers good speed, and performs well for regular riding in different conditions.
- Scoop: slightly lifted edges in the tip and tail create a more forgiving feel for presses, butters, and freestyle riding.
- Pro-Tip™: reduced thickness in the tip and tail lowers swing weight and improves maneuverability.
- Infinite Ride™: technology designed to help the board keep its intended flex and pop over time.
- Super Sap® Epoxy: bio-based epoxy used to help reduce the environmental impact of production.
- The Channel®: Burton’s mounting system allows very precise binding adjustment and works with Burton EST®, Burton Re:Flex™, and many bindings from other brands when used with the correct discs.

Frequently Asked Questions – Burton Process Camber and The Channel® system
Is the Burton Process Camber good for freestyle?
Yes, freestyle is one of the main uses of this board. The Twin shape, Twin flex, and PurePop Camber profile make the Process Camber a strong choice for park laps, jumps, side hits, butters, presses, and switch riding. At the same time, it has enough stability to ride comfortably on groomers.
Is Process Camber easier to ride than a full traditional camber?
Yes. PurePop Camber is more approachable than a strong traditional camber. It still gives pop and edge control, but the softer zones near the tip and tail make the board more forgiving for freestyle and everyday riding.
Do I need special bindings for the Burton Process Camber?
The board uses The Channel® system, so your bindings need to be compatible with it. Burton EST® and Burton Re:Flex™ bindings work very well with The Channel®. Many bindings from other brands also work, but they require the correct Channel-compatible mounting discs.
How is The Channel® different from traditional 4x4 or 2x4 inserts?
The Channel® gives you more freedom to adjust your bindings. Instead of a fixed pattern of insert holes, you get a long mounting channel that makes it easier to fine-tune stance width, binding angles, and your forward or backward binding position. This is useful for both freestyle setups and more versatile all-mountain stances.
